1997 – Haddad Group of Companies identifies in Liberia the need for vehicles that could meet the extreme tropical specifications and terrain challenges. Prestige Motor Corporation is added to the group, serving as an outlet for Land Rover, Ford and Mitsubishi. The company immediately succeeded in establishing a diverse client’s portfolio.
2008 – Prestige Motor Corp. negotiated and signed the Dealership agreement with FORD MOTOR COMPANY, getting officially appointed as the sole dealer of Ford vehicles in Liberia.
2009 – PMC officially started the sales of Ford vehicles and services as part of the Sub Saharan Africa market network of Ford exclusive local dealers. Its line up gained momentum with the mighty Ranger and Everest nameplates.
2011 – Celebrating this success and sustaining the ongoing vision to become the preferred brand for creating affordable solutions and reliable services ( Ford: “ The people’s brand”), Prestige Motor added to its lineup nameplates as Explorer, Escape, Transit, Figo, Expedition and Edge.
